UMPIRING
Willoughby United provides umpires for each of our teams every week and we rely on our club umpires for support.
Players can start umpiring the year they are turning 12 and the club provides coaching, mentoring and support for anyone in the club who is interested. All umpires must have a current pass (valid for 4 years) in the Netball Rules of Theory Examination which can be accessed via https://learning.netball.com.au
We offer opportunities to progress via the umpiring pathway available at Northern Suburbs.
Umpires are paid based on umpiring level attained and experience.
NetSetGo
We encourage all NSG parents to get involved with umpiring.
Parent umpires act as an on-court coach during NSG games and it is an incredibly rewarding way to support your child as they start playing netball.
No prior umpiring experience is necessary and we provide full training and support.
